Discover the Rich Beauty of Costa Rica's Ecosystem on the Mangrove Kayaking Tour

Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to the put in shore. During the 20 minute drive your guide will explain some of the scenery highlights. This Manuel Antonio tour allows you to explore the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in a river called Paquita facing an island and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest canopy. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled so you can spot the innumerable aviary species, snakes, ant eaters and white faced monkeys. While you silently observe this rich habitat your guide will offer explanations about the nature specimens found in this unique region. This Manuel Antonio tour takes you through the natural channels and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigates and other migratory birds. As you journey through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths. As this Manuel Antonio tour takes you across the waters for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, lunch can be arranged before or after the trip. This Manuel Antonio tour does not require previous experience. The kayaks are available in 1 passenger and 2 passenger format. Kids must be at least 8 years old to paddle alone.

We were looking for something to do on a rainy morning, Dante and his team made our day!  We had surf lessons and some more fun with the boogie boards. Staff is amazing, very professional, we always felt very safe and after a few tries we managed to stand on the boards. Then we went to the national park, Dante helped us finding the best tour guide for the park and then after seeing lots of nature, animals and insects we went back to the hotel with happy faces.

Thanks to you and your team for such great adventure!
