Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Costa Rica, with easy access, and the variety of services including all meals and accommodation and a wide range of flora and fauna in such a small place, the park is among the most visited in the country.
Among the main attractions are the beaches surrounded by rainforest. Because of this, the park attracts surfers, swimmers, birders and ecotourists.
The waves usually are great, but they break far from the shore. This volcanic-sand beach is a far away from tourists, hotels, and businesses. This allows the waves and breaks to last much longer, which is ideal for beginner surfers.
It is a very quiet beach with almost no waves.

We had a great time in Arenal zipping through the trees and loved rafting the Savegre, but the highlight of my trip was learning to surf in Manuel Antonio with you guys! The instructors were amazing and I was pretty psyched to not only learn to surf but some tricks too, in just one day!. Thank you Dante! The only bummer was that surfing was the last day of our trip, and I would have liked to surf a few more days! so… I’ll be back!
